Data Security and Retention Policy

Data Security and Encryption

At QuickSigner, the security of user data is essential. The platform uses the most advanced encryption and security technologies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of uploaded and managed data.

QuickSigner respects legal provisions regarding the protection of personal data and implements technical and organizational measures to protect all operations directly or indirectly involving personal data, preventing unauthorized or illegal processing, as well as accidental or unlawful loss or destruction of data.

Technical Security Measures:

  • Encryption of data in transit: All communications between users and the platform are protected through advanced encryption, using standardized security protocols (e.g., TLS/SSL). This ensures that any transmitted information is safeguarded against unauthorized interception.
  • Encryption of data at rest: Data stored on the cloud infrastructure is encrypted using industry-grade encryption algorithms. This ensures that the data is protected from unauthorized access, even in the case of physical or cyber security breaches.
  • Infrastructure security: The infrastructure used, specifically Google Cloud infrastructure, complies with international security and compliance standards (such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27110, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3), providing advanced protection against cyberattacks, unauthorized access, or data loss. More information on Google Cloud certifications can be found here.

Access and Audit Measures:

  • Access to user data is restricted and monitored, being granted only to authorized personnel and only when strictly necessary. Every access is logged in audit systems to ensure traceability and accountability.
  • The systems are continuously monitored to detect any suspicious activity and prevent unauthorized access.

Data Retention and Deletion

quicksigner.com ensures that electronically signed documents are stored securely, complying with legal and technical requirements related to electronic signatures.

Document Retention:

By default, quicksigner.com securely retains all client documents as long as the account is active. When an account is closed, quicksigner.com deletes all sent, signed, and cancelled documents that are older than two years from the account closure date. User information is also removed from the account. If the account is subject to any legal obligation to comply with applicable retention laws, this obligation will override our retention policy.

Retention Policy and Legal Compliance:

  • In all cases, signed documents will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil legal or contractual obligations, but no longer than permitted by applicable regulations.
  • After the retention period expires, documents will be permanently deleted from our systems, except in cases where legislation requires their retention for a longer period.
